Makes me want to buy a MVIII Formula and sell it when the next chipset comes out to pay for an upgrade. The funny thing is when I bought the board I knew it was overkill but got it for about 300, and its was about 389.99 most places, and most people said it was a waste of money but now that it's broke, I looked online and basically people are selling them for 500-1000 dollars, ridiculous. I don't know if I should try fixing the broken pin(s) or ask asus for an 1150 socket replacement however much that costs (anyone know?). Although I do plan to upgrade to a Dual NIC and use it for NAS and storage uses as well as hopefully find way better Intel Drivers than this BS Kiler e220 Ethernet from MSI. My router is seriouly about 5-10 ft away and I have had the ethernet working fine and the ASUS card and I can't really distinguish a difference in speed. I only bought it because my ASUS Maximus VII Formula apparently has bent pins (which I don't even get considering the cpu was never taken out until it overheated, but that's the case). I have it because the board I have sucks for ethernet, an MSI Gaming 5.
